The Jolly Sailor sponsors Phoenix Football Club.

Phoenix Football Club, who were formed on the back of Englands World Cup victory in 1966, are the oldest club in the St Albans Sunday League.
Last season Phoenix celebrated 40 years of success with a mini tournament at St Albans FC consisting of sides from the 70's, 80's and 90's and current teams. This was followed by a big party at the Quality Hotel.

We currently run 3 successful sides in Divisions 1, 3 & 4, with training at the Hertfordshire University every Thursday night at 8pm.
