Sky 3D TV comes to the Jolly

Recently we premiered our first showing of the new 3D Service from SKY.

A packed house saw this new generation of TV being viewed for the first time, with everyone overwhelmed by the experience.  We have a supply of glasses but if you have your own from the cinema bring them along (or donate them to the Jolly).

Sky will now be broadcasting more games so check the Sky 3D web site for a list of what's on & when.

Picture's to follow shortly.

Gangsters & Molls - Valentine's Day Party

We celebrated the on coming of Valentines Day with a party based around the Valentines Day massacre.

The Saint Valentine's Day massacre is the name given to the murder of seven people as part of a Prohibition Era conflict between two powerful criminal gangs in Chicago, Illinois, in 1929: the South Side Italian gang led by Al Capone and the North Side Irish gang led by Bugs Moran. Former members of the Egan's Rats gang were also suspected to have played a large role in the St. Valentine's Day massacre, assisting Capone.

Jolly Sailor Ski Trip 2010

Just back from our 4th Jolly Sailor ski trip.  This year we were based in St Johann in the Tirol area of Austria.

A great week was had by all, plenty of skiing, drinking and plenty of laughs.  Sonja managed to join us after going to a hotel with the same name in a town with the same name, but 100klm away.  Please don't rib her about it...

Next years trip is already being planned and details will follow as soon as we have them.  We would love you to join us and we promise you will have a good week.

Hippies, Punks, Mod's & Rockers

This years theme was Hippies, Punks, Mods & Rockers and plenty turned up to revell into the great Jolly atmosphere.

As always the party rocked on through till the wee small hours with cheesy dance tunes and old skool classics, it's rumored that some of the dancing was captured on video, Las Ketchup anyone...

Happy New year to all our customers,

Paul & Team at the Jolly
