Golf Day - Panshangar, 16 Feb '07

1st Golf Society day of new year was held at Panshangar Golf Course. Weather was fantastic for the time of year and the 4 four ball tee'd off at 10.30. Stapleford rules applied and the Jolly Sailor handicap committee deemed that the handicap would start at 7/8 of a players official handicap. Shots will be deducted or added throughout the year as results come in.

A yellow ball competition between the 4 set of four balls was also run. Disco managed to loose his ball before he got to the 1st tee. Later found, he had put it his shoe for safe keeping!! Winner of the yellow ball competition was Dennis Boziers team of Dennis, Peter, Mark and Joel.

B&Q or Tango Man (otherwise known as Russell) is soon to be married, so we'd like to wish him all our very best.

Overall a good day and some great new members signed on. Looking forward to the next JS golf meet at Mill Green on Thursday 29th March.
