Girls On Tour
Salou, 6 - 9 June '08
It's not to late too join the girls on their tour to Salou
in June. We're flying out on Friday 6th June, playing netball on
the Saturday and Sunday, before flying back on Monday 9th, oh and
there may be some drinking involved too ... drop us an email
for further info.

A win at last (only
a friendly though, but a win never the less!)
Harpenden B vs Abbey Fliers, 29/11/0

Harpenden B got off to
a strong start against Abbey Fliers, taking an early lead in
the first quarter. The team were able to make good use of some
of the moves practised earlier in the week, moving the ball
successfully out of defence and getting some well placed overhead
passes into the shooters. Phil and Nina were both on good form
throughout the game, passing well around the circle and getting
their shots in from all over.
In each quarter Harpenden B were able to extend their lead further.
Laura, Zarinne and Adrienne co-ordinated effectively in defence,
and centre court play was working well between Louise, Ione
and Elee. It was a real confidence boost for the team to experience
their first victory!

About the club
We welcome players of all standards. Our name maybe a little
misleading as we don't train or play in Harpenden. We train
every Tuesday in the main hall at St Albans High School from
8-9pm as well as participating in the indoor league.
We run 2 teams in local winter leagues:
St Albans Local League - matches every other Saturday
at either 1 or 2:30pm at Verulanium Park.

Hertford District League - matches every
Saturday at 12, 1:15 or 2:30pm at the Sele School.
